Both Parliament and Funkadelic operated separately and together, being founded by band leader George Clinton in 1955. As time wore on, though, the lines between the two became blurred and while both groups had unique identities they started to form one singular unit, P Funk. Their parties, of course, were known to be non stop, and they let you know via song. P
